I had a Caramelo (cold) with extra coffee and a Crepe of jamon, cheese and pollo. It was good and service was fine. I sat by the balcony near a bridge and the river. It was very peaceful.

Great food! The location is just two mins walk outside of the Machu Picchu national park, very convenient. The severs were very friendly, despite not very fluent English. There was relaxing music and cute decorations within the cafe. We ordered a refreshing strawberry juice, two desserts, and two scoops of ice cream (Lucuma and Chirimoya). We recommend the Lemon Pie, but don’t suggest the cheesecakes, which have a weird texture. Lovely presentations.

Enjoyed the chocolate milkshake while passing through the area today at Cafe Peru. The staff were very friendly & kind. The milkshake was really good. I definitely would return for another if visiting the area again.

I stopped at Perú Cafe Machupicchu because of the other positive reviews and I was not disappointed! The service was excellent, especially Tony who was friendly, gave a good recommendation, and provided extra information about my coffee and the local producer. He even heated my chocolate croissant without me having to ask, so that was a nice touch (and it made it even more delicious!). The cafe is located at a nice spot next to the river and you can people watch as they walk by. There’s constant music going, and I think sometimes it would be nice just to have the sound of the river and the passing conversations, but that may just be me. Overall I am very glad I stopped here and I would definitely recommend it!

Food is fine, location is great and service is great. Did not appreciate however, that they wouldn't take card payment when I specifically asked them if they did, upon arriving. They said they had a problem with the payment system, but I was skeptical. I had some cash I was saving for street expenses and was forced to use it up. This is pretty common practice here, but , in this case, I can't help having the feeling that I was tricked.
